Dua 30 Dua for Parents – Always Recite This Prayer:
(Surah Ibrahim (14), Verse 41)

رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْحِسَابُ

Rabbanagh fir lee wa liwaalidaiya wa lilmu'mineena Yawma yaqoomul hisaab.

Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and all the faithful, on the day when the reckoning is held.

(Surah Ibrahim (14), Verse 41)

This prayer was recite by Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.). In his prayer, he also included his parents and the believers.
It is obligatory upon us to love our parents, respect and honor them—those through whom Allah brought us into this world. They fulfilled all our needs and endured countless hardships for our sake. Even in animals and birds, the love of a mother exists. A predator cares for its young, and even a snake protects its offspring. If a sparrow cannot find food easily, it will risk its life to take grain from your table—such is the innate love of parents in all creation.
This is why our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said :
"Paradise lies beneath the feet of the mother."
No child can ever fully repay the sacrifices of their parents. Thus, Allah commands in the Holy Quran:
"Always keep your neck bowed before your parents."
We should always include this prayer in our supplications.
If we have ever disobeyed our parents—whether out of ignorance, foolishness, or mistake—and they are still alive, we must seek their forgiveness and serve them sincerely so that our sins may be forgiven, Insha'Allah.
If our parents have passed away and we wish for our disobedience to be forgiven, we should :
-Give charity on their behalf.
-Pray for their forgiveness.
-Keep fasts for them.
-Get books printed and donate them (as an endowment).
-Feed the poor.
-Repent to Allah and constantly make dua for their mercy.
By doing so, the sins of disobedience will surely be erased, Insha'Allah. Even if parents are alive, we should always pray for their forgiveness.
