بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
bismi allahi allrahmani alrrahimi
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
[00:05.00]
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَاۤ اَهْلَ بَيْتِ النُّبُوَّةِ
as-salamu `alaykum ya ahla bayti alnnubuwwati
Peace be upon you, O Household of Prophethood,
[00:10.00]
وَ مَوْضِعَ الرِّسَالَةِ
wa mawdi`a alrrisalati
location of the Divine mission,
[00:13.00]
وَ مُخْتَلَفَ الْمَلَاۤئِكَةِ
wa mukhtalafa almala'ikati
frequently visited by the angels,
[00:17.00]
وَ مَهْبِطَ الْوَحْيِ
wa mahbita alwahyi
destination of the Divine revelation,
[00:20.00]
وَ مَعْدِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ
wa ma`dina alrrahmati
core of mercy,
[00:22.00]
وَ خُزَّانَ الْعِلْمِ
wa khuzzana al`ilmi
treasurers of knowledge,
[00:25.00]
وَ مُنْتَهَى الْحِلْمِ
wa muntaha alhilmi
ultimate degree of forbearance,
[00:27.00]
وَ اُصُوْلَ الْكَرَمِ
wa usula alkarami
origins of generosity,
[00:29.00]
وَ قَادَةَ الْاُمَمِ
wa qadata al-umami
leaders of all nations,
[00:31.00]
وَ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ النِّعَمِ
wa awliya'a alnni`ami
sustainers of bounties,
[00:35.00]
وَ عَنَاصِرَ الْاَبْرَارِ
wa `anasira al-abrari
foundations of the dutiful,
[00:38.00]
وَ دَعَاۤئِمَ الْاَخْيَارِ
wa da`a'ima al-akhyari
pillars of the upright,
[00:41.00]
وَ سَاسَةَ الْعِبَادِ
wa sasata al`ibadi
maintainers of the servants (of Allah),
[00:43.00]
وَ اَرْكَانَ الْبِلَادِ
wa arkana albiladi
props of the lands,
[00:47.00]
وَ اَبْوَابَ الْاِيْمَانِ
wa abwaba al-imani
doors to true faith,
[00:49.00]
وَ اُمَنَاۤءَ الرَّحْمٰنِ
wa umana'a alrrahmani
trustees of the All-beneficent (Allah),
[00:53.00]
وَ سُلَالَةَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ
wa sulalata alnnabiyyina
descendants of the Prophets,
[00:55.00]
وَ صَفْوَةَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
wa safwata almursalina
choice of the Messengers,
[00:59.00]
وَ عِتْرَةَ خِيَرَةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
wa `itrata khiyarati rabbi al`alamina
and offspring of the select of the Lord of the worlds.
[01:03.00]
وَ رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ
wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu
Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon you (all).
[01:08.00]
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰىۤ اَئِمَّةِ الْهُدٰى
as-salamu `ala a'immati alhuda
Peace be upon the directors of right guidance,
[01:13.00]
وَ مَصَابِيْحِ الدُّجٰى
wa masabihi aldduja
the lanterns in darkness,
[01:16.00]
وَ اَعْلَامِ التُّقٰى
wa a`lami alttuqa
the patterns of piety,
[01:18.00]
وَ ذَوِيْ النُّهٰى
wa dhawi alnnuha
the owners of understanding,
[01:20.00]
وَ اُوْلِي الْحِجٰى
wa uli alhija
the endued with thought,
[01:22.00]
وَ كَهْفِ الْوَرٰى
wa kahfi alwara
the havens for the peoples,
[01:24.00]
وَ وَرَثَةِ الْاَنْبِيَاۤءِ
wa warathati al-anbiya'i
the inheritors of the Prophets,
[01:27.00]
وَ الْمَثَلِ الْاَعْلٰى
walmathali al-a`la
the perfect specimen,
[01:29.00]
وَ الدَّعْوَةِ الْحُسْنٰى
waldda`wati alhusna
the most excellent call,
[01:33.00]
وَ حُجَجِ اللّٰهِ عَلٰىۤ اَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا
wa hujaji allahi `ala ahli alddunya
and the arguments of Allah against the inhabitants of the world,
[01:37.00]
وَ الْاٰخِرَةِ وَ الْاُوْلٰى
wal-akhirati wal-ula
the Hereafter, and the former world.
[01:40.00]
وَ رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ
wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu
Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon you (all).
[01:45.00]
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰى مَحَآلِّ مَعْرِفَةِ اللّٰهِ
as-salamu `ala mahalli ma`rifati allahi
Peace be upon the exponents of the recognition of Allah,
[01:51.00]
وَ مَسَاكِنِ بَرَكَةِ اللّٰهِ
wa masakini barakati allahi
the centers of Allah’s blessing,
[01:55.00]
وَ مَعَادِنِ حِكْمَةِ اللّٰهِ
wa ma`adini hikmati allahi
the essence of Allah’s wisdom,
[01:58.00]
وَ حَفَظَةِ سِرِّ اللّٰهِ
wa hafazati sirri allahi
the keepers of Allah’s secrets,
[02:02.00]
وَ حَمَلَةِ كِتَابِ اللّٰهِ
wa hamalati kitabi allahi
the bearers of Allah’s Book,
[02:05.00]
وَ اَوْصِيَاۤءِ نَبِيِّ اللّٰهِ
wa awsiya'i nabiyyi allahi
the successors of Allah’s Prophet,
[02:09.00]
ذُرِّيَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ وَ
wa dhurriyyati rasuli allahi
and the progeny of Allah’s Messenger,
[02:12.00]
صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِهِ
salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi
may Allah send blessings upon him and his Household.
[02:16.00]
وَ رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ
wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu
Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon them.
[02:22.00]
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الدُّعَاةِ اِلَى اللّٰهِ
as-salamu `ala alddu`ati ila allahi
Peace be upon the callers to Allah,
[02:27.00]
وَ الْاَدِلَّاۤءِ عَلٰى مَرْضَاةِ اللّٰهِ
wal-adilla'i `ala mardati allahi
the leaders to Allah’s pleasure,
[02:32.00]
وَ الْمُسْتَقِرِّيْنَ [وَ الْمُسْتَوْفِرِيْنَ] فِيۤ اَمْرِ اللّٰهِ
walmustaqirrina fi amri allahi
the abiders by Allah’s decree,
[02:36.00]
وَ التَّآمِّيْنَ فِيْ مَحَبَّةِ اللّٰهِ
walttammina fi mahabbati allahi
the perfect in love for Allah,
[02:40.00]
وَ الْمُخْلِصِيْنَ فِيْ تَوْحِيْدِ اللّٰهِ
walmukhlisina fi tawhidi allahi
the sincere in professing Allah’s Oneness,
[02:45.00]
وَ الْمُظْهِرِيْنَ لِاَمْرِ اللّٰهِ وَ نَهْيِهِ
walmuzhirina li'amri allahi wa nahyihi
the manifesters of Allah’s orders and prohibitions,
[02:51.00]
وَ عِبَادِهِ الْمُكْرَمِيْنَ
wa `ibadihi almukramina
and Allah’s honored bondmen
[02:55.00]
الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَسْبِقُوْنَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ
alladhina la yasbiqunahu bilqawli
who speak not until He has spoken
[02:59.00]
وَ هُمْ بِاَمْرِهِ يَعْمَلُوْنَ
wa hum bi'amrihi ya`maluna
and act by His command.
[03:03.00]
وَ رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ
wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu
Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon them.
[03:08.00]
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الْاَئِمَّةِ الدُّعَاةِ
as-salamu `ala al-a'immati alddu`ati
Peace be upon the Imams, the heralds,
[03:13.00]
وَ الْقَادَةِ الْهُدَاةِ
walqadati alhudati
the leaders, the guides,
[03:16.00]
وَ السَّادَةِ الْوُلَاةِ
walssadati alwulati
the chiefs, the authorities,
[03:19.00]
وَ الذَّادَةِ الْحُمَاةِ
waldhdhadati alhumati
the defenders, the protectors,
[03:21.00]
وَ اَهْلِ الذِّكْرِ
wa ahli aldhdhikri
the people of the Reminder (i.e. the Qur'an),
[03:23.00]
وَ اُوْلِي الْاَمْرِ
wa uli al-amri
the men in authority,
[03:25.00]
وَ بَقِيَّةِ اللّٰهِ وَ خِيَرَتِهِ
wa baqiyyati allahi wa khiyaratihi
the left ones by Allah, His select,
[03:30.00]
وَ حِزْبِهِ وَ عَيْبَةِ عِلْمِهِ
wa hizbihi wa `aybati `ilmihi
His party, the case of His knowledge
[03:33.00]
وَ حُجَّتِهِ وَ صِرَاطِهِ
wa hujjatihi wa siratihi
His argument, His path,
[03:36.00]
وَ نُوْرِهِ وَ بُرْهَانِهِ
wa nurihi wa burhanihi
His light, and His proof.
[03:40.00]
وَ رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ
wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu
Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon them.
[03:46.00]
اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ
ashhadu an la ilaha illa allahu
I bear witness that there is no god save Allah;
[03:51.00]
وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ
wahdahu la sharika lahu
One and Only and having no partner with Him
[03:54.00]
كَمَا شَهِدَ اللّٰهُ لِنَفْسِهِ
kama shahida allahu linafsihi
just as Allah has testified to His Oneness
[03:58.00]
وَ شَهِدَتْ لَهُ مَلَاۤئِكَتُهُ
wa shahidat lahu mala'ikatuhu
to which His angels
[04:02.00]
وَ اُوْلُوْا الْعِلْمِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ
wa ulu al`ilmi min khalqihi
and his knowledgeable creatures testify.
[04:05.00]
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ
la ilaha illa huwa al`azizu alhakimu
There is no god save Him; the Almighty, the All-wise.
[04:11.00]
وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ الْمُنْتَجَبُ
wa ashhadu anna muhammadan `abduhu almuntajabu
I also bear witness that Muhammad is His elect servant
[04:17.00]
وَ رَسُوْلُهُ الْمُرْتَضٰىۤ
wa rasuluhu almurtada
and His approved Messenger.
[04:20.00]
اَرْسَلَهُ بِالْهُدٰى وَ دِيْنِ الْحَقِّ
arsalahu bilhuda wa dini alhaqqi
He sent him with right guidance and with the Religion of truth
[04:25.00]
لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّيْنِ كُلِّهِ
liyuzhirahu `ala alddini kullihi
that He may cause it to prevail over all religions
[04:29.00]
وَ لَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُوْنَ
wa law kariha almushrikuna
however much the idol-worshippers may be averse.
[04:32.00]
وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكُمُ الْاَئِمَّةُ الرَّاشِدُوْنَ
wa ashhadu annakum al-a'immatu alrrashiduna
I also bear witness that you all are the Imams, rightly guiding,
[04:37.00]
الْمَهْدِيُّوْنَ الْمَعْصُوْمُوْنَ
almahdiyyuna alma`sumuna
well-guided, infallible,
[04:41.00]
الْمُكَرَّمُوْنَ الْمُقَرَّبُوْنَ
almukarramuna almuqarrabuna
highly revered, drawn near (to Allah),
[04:45.00]
الْمُتَّقُوْنَ الصَّادِقُوْنَ
almuttaquna alssadiquna
pious, veracious,
[04:48.00]
الْمُصْطَفَوْنَ الْمُطِيْعُوْنَ لِلّٰهِ
almustafawna almuti`una lillahi
well-chosen, obedient to Allah,
[04:53.00]
الْقَوَّامُوْنَ بِاَمْرِهِ
alqawwamuna bi'amrihi
establishing His rule,
[04:57.00]
الْعَامِلُوْنَ بِاِرَادَتِهِ
al`amiluna bi'iradatihi
putting into practice His will,
[05:00.00]
الْفَاۤئِزُوْنَ بِكَرَامَتِهِ
alfa'izuna bikaramatihi
and winning His honoring.
[05:05.00]
اصْطَفَاكُمْ بِعِلْمِهِ
istafakum bi`ilmihi
He chose you on account of His (eternal) knowledge,
[05:08.00]
وَ ارْتَضَاكُمْ لِغَيْبِهِ
wartadakum lighaybihi
approved of you to maintain His unseen knowledge,
[05:11.00]
وَ اخْتَارَكُمْ لِسِرِّهِ
wakhtarakum lisirrihi
selected you to keep His secret,
[05:14.00]
وَ اجْتَبَاكُمْ بِقُدْرَتِهِ
wajtabakum biqudratihi
decided on you by means of His omnipotence,
[05:18.00]
وَ اَعَزَّكُمْ بِهُدَاهُ
wa a`azzakum bihudahu
equipped you with His guidance,
[05:21.00]
وَ خَصَّكُمْ بِبُرْهَانِهِ
wa khassakum biburhanihi
distinguished you with His clear proofs,
[05:24.00]
وَ انْتَجَبَكُمْ لِنُورِهِ [بِنُوْرِهِ]
wantajabakum linurihi
chose you to hold His Light,
[05:28.00]
وَ اَيَّدَكُمْ بِرُوْحِهِ
wa ayyadakum biruhihi
supported you with His Holy spirit,
[05:31.00]
وَ رَضِيَكُمْ خُلَفَاۤءَ فِيۤ اَرْضِهِ
wa radiyakum khulafa'a fi ardihi
and accepted you as vicegerents in His lands,
[05:35.00]
وَ حُجَجًا عَلٰى بَرِيَّتِهِ
wa hujajan `ala bariyyatihi
arguments against His beings,
[05:39.00]
وَ اَنْصَارًا لِدِيْنِهِ
wa ansaran lidinihi
supporters of His religion,
[05:42.00]
وَ حَفَظَةً لِسِرِّهِ
wa hafazatan lisirrihi
keepers of His secret,
[05:46.00]
وَ خَزَنَةً لِعِلْمِهِ
wa khazanatan li`ilmihi
hoarders of His knowledge,
[05:49.00]
وَ مُسْتَوْدَعًا لِحِكْمَتِهِ
wa mustawda`an lihikmatihi
stores of His wisdom,
[05:53.00]
وَ تَرَاجِمَةً لِوَحْيِهِ
wa tarajimatan liwahyihi
interpreters of His revelation,
[05:56.00]
وَ اَرْكَانًا لِتَوْحِيْدِهِ
wa arkanan litawhidihi
pillars of the profession of His Oneness,
[06:00.00]
وَ شُهَدَاۤءَ عَلٰى خَلْقِهِ
wa shuhada'a `ala khalqihi
witnesses on His creatures,
[06:04.00]
وَ اَعْلَامًا لِعِبَادِهِ
wa a`laman li`ibadihi
signs for His servants,
[06:07.00]
وَ مَنَارًا فِيْ بِلَادِهِ
wa manaran fi biladihi
torches in His lands,
[06:11.00]
وَ اَدِلَّاۤءَ عَلٰى صِرَاطِهِ
wa adilla'a `ala siratihi
and directors to His path.
[06:18.00]
عَصَمَكُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الزَّلَلِ
`asamakum allahu min alzzalali
Allah has preserved you against slips,
[06:24.00]
وَ اٰمَنَكُمْ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ
wa amanakum min alfitani
secured you against seditious matters,
[06:29.00]
وَ طَهَّرَكُمْ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ
wa tahharakum min alddanasi
purified you from dirt,
[06:34.00]
وَ اَذْهَبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ
wa adhhaba `ankum alrrijsa
removed away from you uncleanness,
[06:38.00]
وَ طَهَّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيْرًا
wa tahharakum tathiran
and purified you with a thorough purifying.
[06:49.00]
فَعَظَّمْتُمْ جَلَالَهُ
fa`azzamtum jalalahu
So, you have glorified His majesty,
[06:52.00]
وَ اَكْبَرْتُمْ شَأْنَهُ
wa akbartum sha'nahu
declared great His magnificence,
[06:55.00]
وَ مَجَّدْتُمْ كَرَمَهُ
wa majjadtum karamahu
glorified His nobility,
[06:58.00]
وَ اَدَمْتُمْ [اَدْمَنْتُمْ] ذِكْرَهُ
wa adamtum dhikrahu
perpetuated mentioning Him,
[07:01.00]
وَ وَكَّدْتُمْ [ذَكَّرْتُمْ] مِيْثَاقَهُ
wa wakkadtum mithaqahu
consolidated His covenant,
[07:04.00]
وَ اَحْكَمْتُمْ عَقْدَ طَاعَتِهِ
wa ahkamtum `aqda ta`atihi
made firm your pledge of obedience to Him,
[07:08.00]
وَ نَصَحْتُمْ لَهُ فِي السِّرِّ وَ الْعَلَانِيَةِ
wa nasahtum lahu fi alssirri wal`alaniyati
acted sincerely to Him privately and publicly,
[07:14.00]
وَ دَعَوْتُمْ اِلٰى سَبِيْلِهِ
wa da`awtum ila sabilihi
called unto His way
[07:18.00]
بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَ الْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ
bilhikmati walmaw`izati alhasanati
with wisdom and fair admonition,
[07:22.00]
وَ بَذَلْتُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْ فِيْ مَرْضَاتِهِ
wa badhaltum anfusakum fi mardatihi
sacrificed yourselves for the sake of attaining His pleasure,
[07:28.00]
وَ صَبَرْتُمْ عَلٰى مَا اَصَابَكُمْ فِيْ جَنْبِهِ [حُبِّهِ]
wa sabartum `ala ma asabakum fi janbihi
acted patiently towards what has befallen you for His sake,
[07:35.00]
وَ اَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلٰوةَ
wa aqamtum alssalata
performed the prayers,
[07:37.00]
وَ اٰتَيْتُمُ الزَّكَاةَ
wa ataytum alzzakata
defrayed the poor-rate,
[07:40.00]
وَ اَمَرْتُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ
wa amartum bilma`rufi
enjoined the right,
[07:44.00]
وَ نَهَيْتُمْ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
wa nahaytum `an almunkari
forbade the wrong,
[07:48.00]
وَ جَاهَدْتُمْ فِيْ اللّٰهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ
wa jahadtum fi allahi haqqa jihadihi
and strived in the way of Allah as exactly as striving should be
[07:53.00]
حَتّٰىۤ اَعْلَنْتُمْ دَعْوَتَهُ
hatta a`lantum da`watahu
until you made known His call,
[07:56.00]
وَ بَيَّنْتُمْ فَرَاۤئِضَهُ
wa bayyantum fara'idahu
rendered clear His obligations,
[08:00.00]
وَ اَقَمْتُمْ حُدُوْدَهُ
wa aqamtum hududahu
executed His provisions,
[08:03.00]
وَ نَشَرْتُمْ [وَ فَسَّرْتُمْ] شَرَاۤئِعَ اَحْكَامِهِ
wa nashartum shara'i`a ahkamihi
propagated for the enacted laws of Him,
[08:08.00]
وَ سَنَنْتُمْ سُنَّتَهُ
wa sanantum sunnatahu
acted out His rules,
[08:10.00]
وَ صِرْتُمْ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ مِنْهُ اِلَى الرِّضَا
wa sirtum fi dhalika minhu ila alrrida
attained His pleasure through carrying out all these matters,
[08:16.00]
وَ سَلَّمْتُمْ لَهُ الْقَضَاۤءَ
wa sallamtum lahu alqada'a
surrendered to His will,
[08:19.00]
وَ صَدَّقْتُمْ مِنْ رُسُلِهِ مَنْ مَضٰى
wa saddaqtum min rusulihi man mada
and confirmed the truth of the past Messengers of Him.
[08:23.00]
فَالرَّاغِبُ عَنْكُمْ مَارِقٌ
falrraghibu `ankum mariqun
Therefore, whoever forsakes you is apostate,
[08:27.00]
وَ اللَّازِمُ لَكُمْ لَاحِقٌ
wallazimu lakum lahiqun
whoever adheres to you will attain the destination,
[08:31.00]
وَ الْمُقَصِّرُ فِيْ حَقِّكُمْ زَاهِقٌ
walmuqassiru fi haqqikum zahiqun
and whoever fails to carry out the duties towards you will perish.
[08:35.00]
وَ الْحَقُّ مَعَكُمْ وَ فِيْكُمْ
walhaqqu ma`akum wa fikum
Verily, the truth is always with you, amid you,
[08:39.00]
وَ مِنْكُمْ وَ اِلَيْكُمْ
wa minkum wa ilaykum
from you, and to you.
[08:43.00]
وَ اَنْتُمْ اَهْلُهُ وَ مَعْدِنُهُ
wa antum ahluhu wa ma`dinuhu
You are the people and the core of it (i.e. the truth).
[08:47.00]
وَ مِيْرَاثُ النُّبُوَّةِ عِنْدَكُمْ
wa mirathu alnnubuwwati `indakum
The inheritance of Prophethood is with you.
[08:51.00]
وَ اِيَابُ الْخَلْقِ اِلَيْكُمْ
wa iyabu alkhalqi ilaykum
The ultimate destination of the creatures is to you.
[08:56.00]
وَ حِسَابُهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ
wa hisabuhum `alaykum
Calling them to account is your mission.
[08:59.00]
وَ فَصْلُ الْخِطَابِ عِنْدَكُمْ
wa faslu alkhitabi `indakum
Decisive speech is with you.
[09:03.00]
وَ اٰيَاتُ اللّٰهِ لَدَيْكُمْ
wa ayatu allahi ladaykum
The verses of Allah is in your possession.
[09:07.00]
وَ عَزَاۤئِمُهُ فِيْكُمْ
wa `aza'imuhu fikum
His unavoidable decrees rely upon you.
[09:10.00]
وَ نُوْرُهُ وَ بُرْهَانُهُ عِنْدَكُمْ
wa nuruhu wa burhanuhu `indakum
His light and proof are with you.
[09:15.00]
وَ اَمْرُهُ اِلَيْكُمْ
wa amruhu ilaykum
His authority is to you.
[09:18.00]
مَنْ وَالَاكُمْ فَقَدْ وَالَى اللّٰهَ
man walakum faqad wala allaha
Whoever declares loyalty to you has in fact declared loyalty to Allah,
[09:23.00]
wa man `adakum faqad `ada allaha
whoever shows enmity towards you has in fact shown enmity towards Allah,
[09:28.00]
وَ مَنْ اَحَبَّكُمْ فَقَدْ اَحَبَّ اللّٰهَ
wa man ahabbakum faqad ahabba allaha
whoever loves you has in fact loved Allah,
[09:33.00]
وَ مَنْ اَبْغَضَكُمْ فَقَدْ اَبْغَضَ اللّٰهَ
wa man abghadakum faqad abghada allaha
whoever hates you has in fact hated Allah,
[09:38.00]
وَ مَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِكُمْ فَقَدِ اعْتَصَمَ بِاللّٰهِ،
wa man i`tasama bikum faqad i`tasama billahi
and whoever holds fast to you has in fact held fast to Allah.
[09:44.00]
اَنْتُمُ الصِّرَاطُ الْاَقْوَمُ
antumu alssiratu al-aqwamu
You are the most straight path,( )
[09:47.00]
وَ شُهَدَاۤءُ دَارِ الْفَنَاۤءِ
wa shuhada'u dari alfana'i
the witnesses of this abode of extinction,
[09:51.00]
وَ شُفَعَاۤءُ دَارِ الْبَقَاۤءِ
wa shufa`a'u dari albaqa'i
the intercessors in the abode of permanence,
[09:54.00]
وَ الرَّحْمَةُ الْمَوْصُوْلَةُ
walrrahmatu almawsulatu
the connected mercy,
[09:59.00]
وَ الْاٰيَةُ الْمَخْزُوْنَةُ
wal-ayatu almakhzunatu
the stored sign,
[10:02.00]
وَ الْاَمَانَةُ الْمَحْفُوْظَةُ
wal-amanatu almahfuzatu
the safeguarded deposit,
[10:06.00]
وَ الْبَابُ الْمُبْتَلٰى بِهِ النَّاسُ
walbabu almubtala bihi alnnasu
and the door with which people are put to test.
[10:10.00]
مَنْ اَتَاكُمْ نَجَا
man atakum naja
Whoever comes to will have been saved
[10:14.00]
وَ مَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ هَلَكَ
wa man lam ya'tikum halaka
but whoever refrains from joining you will have perished.
[10:17.00]
اِلَى اللّٰهِ تَدْعُوْنَ
ila allahi tad`una
To Allah do you invite people,
[10:21.00]
وَ عَلَيْهِ تَدُلُّوْنَ
wa `alayhi tadulluna
towards him do you show the way,
[10:24.00]
وَ بِهِ تُؤْمِنُونَ
wa bihi tu'minuna
in Him do you believe,
[10:27.00]
وَ لَهُ تُسَلِّمُوْنَ
wa lahu tusallimuna
to Him do you submit,
[10:30.00]
وَ بِاَمْرِهِ تَعْمَلُوْنَ
wa bi'amrihi ta`maluna
upon His command do you act,
[10:34.00]
وَ اِلٰى سَبِيْلِهِ تُرْشِدُوْنَ
wa ila sabilihi turshiduna
to His path do you direct,
[10:38.00]
وَ بِقَوْلِهِ تَحْكُمُوْنَ
wa biqawlihi tahkumuna
and according to His saying do you judge.
[10:41.00]
سَعَدَ مَنْ وَالَاكُمْ
sa`ada man walakum
Happy is he who is loyal to you,
[10:44.00]
وَ هَلَكَ مَنْ عَادَاكُمْ
wa halaka man `adakum
desolate is he who forsakes you,
[10:48.00]
وَ خَابَ مَنْ جَحَدَكُمْ
wa khaba man jahadakum
disappointed is he who denies you,
[10:52.00]
وَ ضَلَّ مَنْ فَارَقَكُمْ
wa dalla man faraqakum
straying off is he who separates himself from you,
[10:55.00]
وَ فَازَ مَنْ تَمَسَّكَ بِكُمْ
wa faza man tamassaka bikum
winner is he who adheres to you,
[10:59.00]
وَ اَمِنَ مَنْ لَجَاَ اِلَيْكُمْ
wa amina man laja' ilaykum
secured is he who resorts to you,
[11:03.00]
وَ سَلِمَ مَنْ صَدَّقَكُمْ
wa salima man saddaqakum
saved is he who gives credence to you,
[11:07.00]
وَ هُدِيَ مَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِكُمْ
wa hudiya man i`tasama bikum
and rightly guided is he who takes shelter in you.
[11:11.00]
مَنِ اتَّبَعَكُمْ فَالْجَنَّةُ مَأْوَاهُ
man ittaba`akum faljannatu ma'wahu
As to whoever follows you, Paradise will be his abode.
[11:17.00]
وَ مَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ فَالنَّارُ مَثْوَاهُ
wa man khalafakum falnnaru mathwahu
As to whoever dissents you, Hellfire will be his dwelling.
[11:23.00]
وَ مَنْ جَحَدَكُمْ كَافِرٌ
wa man jahadakum kafirun
He who denies you is unbeliever,
[11:27.00]
وَ مَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ مُشْرِكٌ
wa man harabakum mushrikun
he who makes war against you is polytheist,
[11:31.00]
وَ مَنْ رَدَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيۤ اَسْفَلِ دَرْكٍ مِنَ الْجَحِيْمِ
wa man radda `alaykum fi asfali darakin min aljahimi
and he who objects to you will be in the lowest tier of the burning fire.
[11:45.00]
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ هٰذَا سَابِقٌ لَكُمْ فِيْمَا مَضٰى
ashhadu anna hadha sabiqun lakum fima mada
I bear witness that all the previous was pre-decided for you
[11:52.00]
وَ جَارٍ لَكُمْ فِيْمَا بَقِيَ
wa jarin lakum fima baqiya
and it will continue in the future;
[11:57.00]
وَ اَنَّ اَرْوَاحَكُمْ وَ نُوْرَكُمْ
wa anna arwahakum wa nurakum
and that your souls, your light,
[12:00.00]
وَ طِيْنَتَكُمْ وَاحِدَةٌ
wa tinatakum wahidatun
and your form are the same;
[12:03.00]
طَابَتْ وَ طَهُرَتْ
tabat wa tahurat
blessed and purified,
[12:05.00]
بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ
ba`duha min ba`din
and one of the other.
[12:08.00]
خَلَقَكُمُ اللّٰهُ اَنْوَارًا
khalaqakum allahu anwaran
Allah created you as lights;
[12:11.00]
فَجَعَلَكُمْ بِعَرْشِهِ مُحْدِقِيْنَ
faja`alakum bi`arshihi muhdiqina
He then made you observe from His Throne
[12:16.00]
حَتّٰى مَنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِكُمْ
hatta manna `alayna bikum
until He endued us with the favor of your existence (among us)
[12:19.00]
فَجَعَلَكُمْ فِيْ بُيُوْتٍ
faja`alakum fi buyutin
and then placed you in houses
[12:22.00]
اَذِنَ اللّٰهُ اَنْ تُرْفَعَ
adhina allahu an turfa`a
that He allowed to be raised
[12:25.00]
وَ يُذْكَرَ فِيْهَا اسْمُهُ
wa yudhkara fiha ismuhu
and to have His Name mentioned therein.
[12:28.00]
وَ جَعَلَ صَلَاتَنَا [صَلَوَاتِنَا] عَلَيْكُمْ
wa ja`ala salatana `alaykum
He also decided our invocation of blessings upon you
[12:31.00]
وَ مَا خَصَّنَا بِهِ مِنْ وِلَايَتِكُمْ
wa ma khassana bihi min wilayatikum
and our loyalty to you
[12:36.00]
طِيْبًا لِخَلْقِنَا [لِخُلُقِنَا]
tiban likhalqina
to be immaculacy of our creation,
[12:39.00]
وَ طَهَارَةً لِاَنْفُسِنَا
wa taharatan li'anfusina
purity of our souls,
[12:42.00]
وَ تَزْكِيَةً [بَرَكَةً] لَنَا
wa tazkiyatan lana
refinement of our manners,
[12:45.00]
وَ كَفَّارَةً لِذُنُوْبِنَا
wa kaffaratan lidhunubina
and forgiveness of our sins.
[12:48.00]
فَكُنَّا عِنْدَهُ مُسَلِّمِيْنَ بِفَضْلِكُمْ
fakunna `indahu musallimina bifadlikum
We have thus become, with Him, of those believing in your precedence
[12:53.00]
وَ مَعْرُوْفِيْنَ بِتَصْدِيْقِنَاۤ اِيَّاكُمْ
wa ma`rufina bitasdiqina iyyakum
and of those known for their giving credence to you.
[12:58.00]
فَبَلَغَ اللّٰهُ بِكُمْ اَشْرَفَ مَحَلِّ الْمُكَرَّمِيْنَ
fabalagha allahu bikum ashrafa mahalli almukarramina
Thus, Allah has raised you to the most principled place of the honored ones,
[13:05.00]
وَ اَعْلٰى مَنَازِلِ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَ
wa a`la manazili almuqarrabina
the highest station of those drawn near to Him,
[13:09.00]
وَ اَرْفَعَ دَرَجَاتِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
wa arfa`a darajati almursalina
and the loftiest ranks of the Messengers
[13:13.00]
حَيْثُ لَا يَلْحَقُهُ لَاحِقٌ
haythu la yalhaquhu lahiqun
where none can ever reach you,
[13:16.00]
وَ لَا يَفُوْقُهُ فَاۤئِقٌ
wa la yafuquhu fa'iqun
nor can anyone ever surpass you,
[13:20.00]
وَ لَا يَسْبِقُهُ سَابِقٌ
wa la yasbiquhu sabiqun
nor can anyone ever precede you,
[13:23.00]
وَ لَا يَطْمَعُ فِيۤ اِدْرَاكِهِ طَامِعٌ
wa la yatma`u fi idrakihi tami`un
no can anyone ever look forward to reaching your positions;
[13:27.00]
حَتّٰى لَا يَبْقٰى مَلَكٌ مُقَرَّبٌ
hatta la yabqa malakun muqarrabun
therefore, no archangel,
[13:31.00]
وَ لَا نَبِيٌّ مُرْسَلٌ
wa la nabiyyun mursalun
commissioned Prophet,
[13:35.00]
وَ لَا صِدِّيْقٌ وَ لَا شَهِيْدٌ
wa la siddiqun wa la shahidun
a veracious one, a martyr,
[13:39.00]
وَ لَا عَالِمٌ وَ لَا جَاهِلٌ
wa la `alimun wa la jahilun
a knowledgeable one, an ignorant one,
[13:42.00]
وَ لَا دَنِيٌّ وَ لَا فَاضِلٌ
wa la daniyyun wa la fadilun
an inferior, a superior,
[13:46.00]
وَ لَا مُؤْمِنٌ صَالِحٌ
wa la mu'minun salihun
a righteous believer,
[13:49.00]
وَ لَا فَاجِرٌ طَالِحٌ
wa la fajirun talihun
a wicked sinner,
[13:52.00]
وَ لَا جَبَّارٌ عَنِيْدٌ
wa la jabbarun `anidun
an obstinate tyrant,
[13:54.00]
وَ لَا شَيْطَانٌ مَرِيْدٌ
wa la shaytanun maridun
a devilish rebel,
[13:58.00]
وَ لَا خَلْقٌ فِيْمَا بَيْنَ ذٰلِكَ شَهِيْدٌ
wa la khalqun fima bayna dhalika shahidun
or any other witnessing being among these classes—all of those
[14:03.00]
اِلَّا عَرَّفَهُمْ جَلَالَةَ اَمْرِكُمْ
illa `arrafahum jalalata amrikum
were informed by Allah about the majesty of your issue,
[14:08.00]
وَ عِظَمَ خَطَرِكُمْ
wa `izama khatarikum
the importance of your standing,
[14:10.00]
وَ كِبَرَ شَأْنِكُمْ
wa kibara sha'nikum
the greatness of your prestige,
[14:13.00]
وَ تَمَامَ نُوْرِكُمْ
wa tamama nurikum
the thoroughness of your illumination,
[14:15.00]
وَ صِدْقَ مَقَاعِدِكُمْ
wa sidqa maqa`idikum
the honesty of your position,
[14:18.00]
وَ ثَبَاتَ مَقَامِكُمْ
wa thabata maqamikum
the firmness of your stance,
[14:21.00]
وَ شَرَفَ مَحَلِّكُمْ وَ مَنْزِلَتِكُمْ عِنْدَهُ
wa sharafa mahallikum wa manzilatikum `indahu
the honor of your station and position with Him,
[14:27.00]
وَ كَرَامَتَكُمْ عَلَيْهِ
wa karamatakum `alayhi
your upstanding reputation with Him,
[14:30.00]
وَ خَآصَّتَكُمْ لَدَيْهِ
wa khassatakum ladayhi
your special position with Him,
[14:33.00]
وَ قُرْبَ مَنْزِلَتِكُمْ مِنْهُ
wa qurba manzilatikum minhu
and your close location to Him.
[14:39.00]
بِاَبِيۤ اَنْتُمْ وَ اُمِّيْ
bi'abi antum wa ummi
May my father, my mother,
[14:44.00]
وَ اَهْلِيْ وَ مَالِيْ وَ اُسْرَتِيۤ
wa ahli wa mali wa usrati
my kin, my property, and my family be ransoms for you.
[14:50.00]
اُشْهِدُ اللّٰهَ وَ اُشْهِدُكُمْ
ushhidu allaha wa ushhidukum
I beseech Allah and I beseech you all to witness for me
[14:54.00]
اَنِّيْ مُؤْمِنٌ بِكُمْ وَ بِمَاۤ اٰمَنْتُمْ بِهِ
anni mu'minun bikum wa bima amantum bihi
that I believe in you all and in that in which you believe,
[15:01.00]
كَافِرٌ بِعَدُوِّكُمْ وَ بِمَا كَفَرْتُمْ بِهِ
kafirun bi`aduwwikum wa bima kafartum bihi
I renounce your enemies and whatever you renounce,
[15:08.00]
مُسْتَبْصِرٌ بِشَأْنِكُمْ
mustabsirun bisha'nikum
I am fully aware of your matter
[15:11.00]
وَ بِضَلَالَةِ مَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ
wa bidalalati man khalafakum
and of the deviation of those who oppose you,
[15:15.00]
مُوَالٍ لَكُمْ وَ لِاَوْلِيَاۤئِكُمْ
muwalin lakum wa li'awliya'ikum
I am loyalist to you and to your loyalists,
[15:20.00]
مُبْغِضٌ لِاَعْدَاۤئِكُمْ وَ مُعَادٍ لَهُمْ
mubghidun li'a`da'ikum wa mu`adin lahum
I hate your enemies and I show enmity towards them,
[15:26.00]
سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمَكُمْ
silmun liman salamakum
I am at peace with those who make peace with you,
[15:29.00]
وَ حَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ
wa harbun liman harabakum
I take the field against those who march against you,
[15:32.00]
مُحَقِّقٌ لِمَا حَقَّقْتُمْ
muhaqqiqun lima haqqaqtum
I accept as true that which you have decided as true,
[15:36.00]
مُبْطِلٌ لِمَاۤ اَبْطَلْتُمْ
mubtilun lima abtaltum
I prove false that which you have decided as false,
[15:40.00]
muti`un lakum
I am obedient to you,
[15:42.00]
عَارِفٌ بِحَقِّكُمْ
`arifun bihaqqikum
I recognize your right,
[15:45.00]
مُقِرٌّ بِفَضْلِكُمْ
muqirrun bifadlikum
I confess of your superiority,
[15:48.00]
مُحْتَمِلٌ لِعِلْمِكُمْ
muhtamilun li`ilmikum
I preserve your knowledge,
[15:51.00]
مُحْتَجِبٌ بِذِمَّتِكُمْ
muhtajibun bidhimmatikum
I take refuge under your protective shelter,
[15:54.00]
mu`tarifun bikum
I profess you,
[15:57.00]
مُؤْمِنٌ بِاِيَابِكُمْ
mu'minun bi'iyabikum
I believe in your coming back (to this world),
[16:00.00]
مُصَدِّقٌ بِرَجْعَتِكُمْ
musaddiqun biraj`atikum
I give credence to your return,
[16:04.00]
مُنْتَظِرٌ لِاَمْرِكُمْ
muntazirun li'amrikum
I am awaiting your issue,
[16:07.00]
مُرْتَقِبٌ لِدَوْلَتِكُمْ
murtaqibun lidawlatikum
I am expecting your rule,
[16:10.00]
اٰخِذٌ بِقَوْلِكُمْ
akhidhun biqawlikum
I take in your sayings,
[16:13.00]
عَامِلٌ بِاَمْرِكُمْ
`amilun bi'amrikum
I carry out your orders,
[16:17.00]
مُسْتَجِيْرٌ بِكُمْ
mustajirun bikum
I take shelter in you,
[16:21.00]
زَاۤئِرٌ لَكُمْ
za'irun lakum
I make visits to you
[16:23.00]
لَاۤئِذٌ عَاۤئِذٌ بِقُبُوْرِكُمْ
la'idhun `a'idhun biquburikum
I resort to and seek protection in your graves,
[16:29.00]
مُسْتَشْفِعٌ اِلَى اللّٰهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِكُمْ
mustashfi`un ila allahi `azza wa jalla bikum
I seek your intercession for me with Allah the Almighty and All-majestic,
[16:34.00]
وَ مُتَقَرِّبٌ بِكُمْ اِلَيْهِ
wa mutaqarribun bikum ilayhi
I seek nearness to Him in your names,
[16:38.00]
وَ مُقَدِّمُكُمْ اَمَامَ طَلِبَتِيْ
wa muqaddimukum amama talibati
I provide you as my means for seeking fulfillment of my desires,
[16:42.00]
وَ حَوَاۤئِجِيْ وَ اِرَادَتِيْ
wa hawa'iji wa iradati
needs, and wishes,
[16:46.00]
فِي كُلِّ أَحْوَالِي وَأُمُورِي
fi kulli ahwali wa umuri
in all of my manners and affairs,
[16:51.00]
مُؤْمِنٌ بِسِرِّكُمْ وَ عَلَانِيَتِكُمْ
mu'minun bisirrikum wa `alaniyatikum
I believe in your invisibility, visibility,
[16:58.00]
وَ شَاهِدِكُمْ وَ غَاۤئِبِكُمْ
wa shahidikum wa gha'ibikum
presence, absence,
[17:03.00]
وَ اَوَّلِكُمْ وَ اٰخِرِكُمْ
wa awwalikum wa akhirikum
first, and last of you;
[17:06.00]
وَ مُفَوِّضٌ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهِ اِلَيْكُمْ
wa mufawwidun fi dhalika kullihi ilaykum
and I confide all that to you
[17:12.00]
وَ مُسَلِّمٌ فِيْهِ مَعَكُمْ
wa musallimun fihi ma`akum
and submit to all of it with you.
[17:17.00]
وَ قَلْبِيْ لَكُمْ مُسَلِّمٌ
wa qalbi lakum musallimun
My heart is subservient to you,
[17:20.00]
وَ رَأْيِيْ لَكُمْ تَبَعٌ
wa ra'yi lakum taba`un
my opinion is following yours,
[17:23.00]
wa nusrati lakum mu`addatun
and my support to you is all set
[17:26.00]
حَتّٰى يُحْيِيَ اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى دِيْنَهُ بِكُمْ
hatta yuhyiya allahu ta`ala dinahu bikum
until Allah the All-exalted restores His religion to life through you,
[17:32.00]
وَ يَرُدَّكُمْ فِيۤ اَيَّامِهِ
wa yaruddakum fi ayyamihi
brings you back again in His days,
[17:36.00]
وَ يُظْهِرَكُمْ لِعَدْلِهِ
wa yuzhirakum li`adlihi
allows you to appear for (establishing) His justice,
[17:39.00]
وَ يُمَكِّنَكُمْ فِيۤ اَرْضِهِ
wa yumakkinakum fi ardihi
and gives you power to rule in His land.
[17:43.00]
فَمَعَكُمْ مَعَكُمْ
fama`akum ma`akum
So, I am (always) with you, with you,
[17:48.00]
لَا مَعَ غَيْرِكُمْ [عَدُوِّكُمْ]
la ma`a ghayrikum
but not with any one other than you.
[17:51.00]
اٰمَنْتُ بِكُمْ
amantu bikum
I have full faith in you,
[17:54.00]
وَ تَوَلَّيْتُ اٰخِرَكُمْ بِمَا تَوَلَّيْتُ بِهِ اَوَّلَكُمْ
wa tawallaytu akhirakum bima tawallaytu bihi awwalakum
and I declare my loyalty to the last of you just as I declared it to the first of you.
[18:01.00]
وَ بَرِئْتُ اِلَى اللّٰهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ
wa bari'tu ila allahi `azza wa jalla
In the presence of Allah the Almighty and All-majestic, I repudiate
[18:06.00]
مِنْ اَعْدَاۤئِكُمْ
min a`da'ikum
your enemies,
[18:09.00]
وَ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ الطَّاغُوْتِ
wa min aljibti walttaghuti
all idols, false deities,
[18:13.00]
وَ الشَّيَاطِيْنِ وَ حِزْبِهِمُ الظَّالِمِيْنَ لَكُمُ
walshshayatini wa hizbihim alzzalimina lakumu
the devils, and their party who have wronged you,
[18:21.00]
الْجَاحِدِيْنَ لِحَقِّكُمْ
aljahidina lihaqqikum
denied your rights,
[18:23.00]
وَ الْمَارِقِيْنَ مِنْ وِلَايَتِكُمْ
walmariqina min wilayatikum
apostatized from your (divinely commissioned) leadership,
[18:28.00]
وَ الْغَاصِبِيْنَ لِاِرْثِكُمُ
walghasibina li'irthikum
usurped your inheritance,
[18:32.00]
الشَّآكِّيْنَ فِيكُمُ [وَ]
alshshakkina fikum
arisen doubts about you,
[18:35.00]
الْمُنْحَرِفِيْنَ عَنْكُمْ
almunharifina `ankum
and deviated from you,
[18:38.00]
وَ مِنْ كُلِّ وَلِيْجَةٍ دُوْنَكُمْ
wa min kulli walijatin dunakum
and (I repudiate) any adherence to anyone other than you,
[18:44.00]
وَ كُلِّ مُطَاعٍ سِوَاكُمْ
wa kulli muta`in siwakum
any obeyed one save you,
[18:47.00]
وَ مِنَ الْاَئِمَّةِ الَّذِيْنَ يَدْعُوْنَ اِلَى النَّارِ
wa min al-a'immati alladhina yad`una ila alnnari
and the leaders who call to Hellfire.
[18:55.00]
فَثَبَّتَنِيَ اللّٰهُ اَبَدًا مَا حَيِيْتُ
fathabbataniya allahu abadan ma hayitu
May Allah make me firm forever as long as I am alive
[19:02.00]
عَلٰى مُوَالَاتِكُمْ
`ala muwalatikum
on loyalty to you,
[19:05.00]
وَ مَحَبَّتِكُمْ وَ دِيْنِكُمْ
wa mahabbatikum wa dinikum
love for you, and on your religion.
[19:09.00]
وَ وَفَّقَنِيْ لِطَاعَتِكُمْ
wa waffaqani lita`atikum
May He grant me success in obedience to you,
[19:13.00]
وَ رَزَقَنِيْ شَفَاعَتَكُمْ
wa razaqani shafa`atakum
endue me with your intercession,
[19:17.00]
وَ جَعَلَنِيْ مِنْ خِيَارِ مَوَالِيْكُمُ
wa ja`alani min khiyari mawalikum
make me of the best of your loyalists
[19:22.00]
التَّابِعِيْنَ لِمَا دَعَوْتُمْ اِلَيْهِ
alttabi`ina lima da`awtum ilayhi
who carry out all that to which you have called,
[19:27.00]
وَ جَعَلَنِيْ مِمَّنْ يَقْتَصُّ اٰثَارَكُمْ
wa ja`alani mimman yaqtassu atharakum
and make me of those who are tracking your footsteps,
[19:33.00]
وَ يَسْلُكُ سَبِيْلَكُمْ
wa yasluku sabilakum
taking your path,
[19:36.00]
وَ يَهْتَدِيْ بِهُدَاكُمْ
wa yahtadi bihudakum
following your guidance,
[19:39.00]
وَ يُحْشَرُ فِيْ زُمْرَتِكُمْ
wa yuhsharu fi zumratikum
(and those who are) resurrected in your group,
[19:44.00]
وَ وَيَكِرُّ فِيْ رَجْعَتِكُمْ
wa yakirru fi raj`atikum
given the chance to appear again in your Return,
[19:47.00]
وَ يُمَلَّكُ فِيْ دَوْلَتِكُمْ
wa yumallaku fi dawlatikum
given authority in your administration,
[19:50.00]
وَ يُشَرَّفُ فِيْ عَافِيَتِكُمْ
wa yusharrafu fi `afiyatikum
honored to live under your sound supervision,
[19:53.00]
وَ يُمَكَّنُ فِيۤ اَيَّامِكُمْ
wa yumakkanu fi ayyamikum
given power in your days,
[19:58.00]
وَ تَقِرُّ عَيْنُهُ غَدًا بِرُؤْيَتِكُمْ
wa taqirru `aynuhu ghadan biru'yatikum
and having their eyes delighted by seeing you in the morrow.
[20:07.00]
بِاَبِيۤ اَنْتُمْ وَ اُمِّيْ
bi'abi antum wa ummi
May my father, mother,
[20:13.00]
بِاَبِيۤ اَنْتُمْ وَ اُمِّيْ
wa nafsi wa ahli wa mali
soul, family, and possessions be ransoms for you.
[20:19.00]
مَنْ اَرَادَ اللّٰهَ بَدَاَ بِكُمْ
man arada allaha bada'a bikum
Whoever desires for Allah should begin with you,
[20:24.00]
وَ مَنْ وَحَّدَهُ قَبِلَ عَنْكُمْ
wa man wahhadahu qabila `ankum
whoever professes His Oneness should accept your instructions,
[20:28.00]
وَ مَنْ قَصَدَهُ تَوَجَّهَ بِكُمْ
wa man qasadahu tawajjaha bikum
and whoever heads for Him should make you the means to Him.
[20:33.00]
مَوَالِيَّ لَاۤ اُحْصِيْ ثَنَاۤءَكُمْ
mawaliyya la uhsi thana'akum
O my masters, I cannot count your merits
[20:40.00]
وَ لَاۤ اَبْلُغُ مِنَ الْمَدْحِ كُنْهَكُمْ
wa la ablughu min almadhi kunhakum
and I cannot attain the utmost of praise of you
[20:45.00]
وَ مِنَ الْوَصْفِ قَدْرَكُمْ
wa min alwasfi qadrakum
and the utmost of the description of your actual value,
[20:49.00]
وَ اَنْتُمْ نُوْرُ الْاَخْيَارِ
wa antum nuru al-akhyari
since you are the light of the upright ones,
[20:53.00]
وَ هُدَاةُ الْاَبْرَارِ
wa hudatu al-abrari
the guides of the pious ones,
[20:57.00]
وَ حُجَجُ الْجَبَّارِ
wa hujaju aljabbari
and the arguments of the Supreme Lord.
[21:00.00]
بِكُمْ فَتَحَ اللّٰهُ
bikum fataha allahu
With you has Allah begun creation
[21:03.00]
وَ بِكُمْ يَخْتِمُ [اللّٰهُ]
wa bikum yakhtimu
and with you will He seal it.
[21:06.00]
وَ بِكُمْ يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ
wa bikum yunazzilu alghaytha
For your sake does He pour down rain,
[21:10.00]
وَ بِكُمْ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاۤءَ اَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَى الْاَرْضِ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهِ
wa bikum yumsiku alssama'a an taqa`a `ala al-ardi illa bi'idhnihi
for your sake does He withhold the heavens from falling on the earth except by His permission,
[21:19.00]
وَ بِكُمْ يُنَفِّسُ الْهَمَّ
wa bikum yunaffisu alhamma
and out of consideration for you does He dismiss agonies
[21:23.00]
وَ يَكْشِفُ الضُّرَّ
wa yakshifu alddurra
and relieves harms.
[21:26.00]
وَ عِنْدَكُمْ مَا نَزَلَتْ بِهِ رُسُلُهُ
wa `indakum ma nazalat bihi rusuluhu
In your possession is all that which His Messengers brought down
[21:30.00]
وَ هَبَطَتْ بِهِ مَلَاۤئِكَتُهُ
wa habatat bihi mala'ikatuhu
and with which His angels descended.
[21:34.00]
وَ اِلٰى جَدِّكُمْ بُعِثَ الرُّوْحُ الْاَمِيْنُ
wa ila jaddikum bu`itha alrruhu al-aminu
To your forefather( ) was the Honest Spirit sent.
[21:44.00]
اٰتَاكُمُ اللّٰهُ مَا لَمْ يُؤْتِ اَحَدًا مِنَ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
atakum allahu ma lam yu'ti ahadan min al`alamina
Allah has given you that which He has not given to any one all over the worlds.
[21:53.00]
طَأْطَاَ كُلُّ شَرِيْفٍ لِشَرَفِكُمْ
ta'ta'a kullu sharifin lisharafikum
All highborn ones nod down their heads before your noble lineage,
[21:57.00]
وَ بَخَعَ كُلُّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لِطَاعَتِكُمْ
wa bakha`a kullu mutakabbirin lita`atikum
all arrogant ones submit to the obedience to you,
[22:02.00]
وَ خَضَعَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ لِفَضْلِكُمْ
wa khada`a kullu jabbarin lifadlikum
all insolent oppressors succumb to your excellence,
[22:08.00]
وَ ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لَكُمْ
wa dhalla kullu shay'in lakum
all things are humiliated before you,
[22:11.00]
وَ اَشْرَقَتِ الْاَرْضُ بِنُوْرِكُمْ
wa ashraqat al-ardu binurikum
the earth has been lit up with your light,
[22:16.00]
وَ فَازَ الْفَاۤئِزُوْنَ بِوِلَايَتِكُمْ
wa faza alfa'izuna biwilayatikum
and the winners have attained triumph due to their loyalty to you.
[22:21.00]
بِكُمْ يُسْلَكُ اِلَى الرِّضْوَانِ
bikum yuslaku ila alrridwani
Through you can the way to Paradise be taken
[22:25.00]
وَ عَلٰى مَنْ جَحَدَ وِلَايَتَكُمْ غَضَبُ الرَّحْمٰنِ
wa `ala man jahada wilayatakum ghadabu alrrahmani
and the ire of the All-beneficent is poured on whoever has denied your (divinely commissioned) leadership.
[22:36.00]
بِاَبِيۤ اَنْتُمْ وَ اُمِّيْ
bi'abi antum wa ummi
May my father, mother,
[22:40.00]
وَ نَفْسِيْ وَ اَهْلِيْ وَ مَالِيْ
wa nafsi wa ahli wa mali
soul, family, and possessions be ransoms for you.
[22:47.00]
ذِكْرُكُمْ فِيْ الذَّاكِرِيْنَ
dhikrukum fi aldhdhakirina
your mention is within the mention of others.
[22:50.00]
وَ اَسْمَاۤؤُكُمْ فِي الْاَسْمَاۤءِ
wa asma'ukum fi al-asma'i
Your names are called along with other names.
[22:55.00]
وَ اَجْسَادُكُمْ فِي الْاَجْسَادِ
wa ajsadukum fi al-ajsadi
Your figures appear among other figures.
[22:59.00]
وَ اَرْوَاحُكُمْ فِي الْاَرْوَاحِ
wa arwahukum fi al-arwahi
Your souls are among other souls.
[23:03.00]
وَ اَنْفُسُكُمْ فِي النُّفُوْسِ
wa anfusukum fi alnnufusi
Your selves are among other selves.
[23:06.00]
وَ اٰثَارُكُمْ فِي الْاٰثَارِ
wa atharukum fi al-athari
Your traditions are among other traditions.
[23:10.00]
وَ قُبُوْرُكُمْ فِي الْقُبُوْرِ
wa quburukum fi alquburi
Your graves are among other graves.
[23:14.00]
فَمَاۤ اَحْلٰىۤ اَسْمَاۤءَكُمْ
fama ahla asma'akum
But how gracious your names are!
[23:17.00]
وَ اَكْرَمَ اَنْفُسَكُمْ
wa akrama anfusakum
How noble your souls are!
[23:21.00]
وَ اَعْظَمَ شَأْنَكُمْ
wa a`zama sha'nakum
How superior your affairs are!
[23:24.00]
وَ اَجَلَّ خَطَرَكُمْ
wa ajalla khatarakum
How majestic your stations are!
[23:27.00]
وَ اَوْفٰى عَهْدَكُمْ
wa awfa `ahdakum
How dependable your covenants are!
[23:30.00]
وَ اَصْدَقَ وَعْدَكُمْ
wa asdaqa wa`dakum
How truthful your promises are!
[23:34.00]
كَلَامُكُمْ نُوْرٌ
kalamukum nurun
Your words are illumination.
[23:37.00]
وَ اَمْرُكُمْ رُشْدٌ
wa amrukum rushdun
Your affairs are (leading to) orthodoxy.
[23:40.00]
وَ وَصِيَّتُكُمُ التَّقْوٰى
wa wasiyyatukum alttaqwa
Your precepts are piety.
[23:43.00]
وَ فِعْلُكُمُ الْخَيْرُ
wa fi`lukum alkhayru
Your deeds are all good.
[23:46.00]
وَ عَادَتُكُمُ الْاِحْسَانُ
wa `adatukum al-ihsanu
Your habits are charity.
[23:50.00]
وَ سَجِيَّتُكُمُ الْكَرَمُ
wa sajiyyatukum alkaramu
Your nature is generosity.
[23:53.00]
وَ شَأْنُكُمُ الْحَقُّ
wa sha'nukum alhaqqu
Your issue is truth,
[23:56.00]
وَ الصِّدْقُ وَ الرِّفْقُ
walssidqu walrrifqu
honesty, and lenience.
[24:00.00]
وَ قَوْلُكُمْ حُكْمٌ وَ حَتْمٌ
wa qawlukum hukmun wa hatmun
Your words are judgments and decisiveness.
[24:04.00]
وَ رَأْيُكُمْ عِلْمٌ وَ حِلْمٌ وَ حَزْمٌ
wa ra'yukum `ilmun wa hilmun wa hazmun
Your views are (based upon) knowledge, temperance, and forethought.
[24:09.00]
اِنْ ذُكِرَ الْخَيْرُ كُنْتُمْ اَوَّلَهُ
in dhukira alkhayru kuntum awwalahu
Whenever goodness is mentioned, you are its initiation,
[24:14.00]
وَ اَصْلَهُ وَ فَرْعَهُ
wa aslahu wa far`ahu
origin, branch,
[24:17.00]
وَ مَعْدِنَهُ وَ مَأْوَاهُ وَ مُنْتَهَاهُ
wa ma`dinahu wa ma'wahu wa muntahahu
essence, center, and ultimate.
[24:24.00]
بِاَبِيۤ اَنْتُمْ وَ اُمِّيْ وَ نَفْسِيْ
bi'abi antum wa ummi wa nafsi
May my father, mother, and soul be ransoms for you.
[24:29.00]
كَيْفَ اَصِفُ حُسْنَ ثَنَاۤئِكُمْ
kayfa asifu husna thana'ikum
How shall I describe the excellence of your merits
[24:33.00]
وَ اُحْصِيْ جَمِيْلَ بَلَاۤئِكُمْ
wa uhsi jamila bala'ikum
and define the beauty of your conferrals?
[24:38.00]
وَ بِكُمْ اَخْرَجَنَا اللّٰهُ مِنَ الذُّلِّ
wa bikum akhrajana allahu min aldhdhulli
It is on account of you that Allah has pulled us out of degradation,
[24:41.00]
وَ فَرَّجَ عَنَّا غَمَرَاتِ الْكُرُوْبِ
wa farraja `anna ghamarati alkurubi
removed from us the clutches of hardships,
[24:47.00]
وَ اَنْقَذَنَا مِنْ شَفَا جُرُفِ الْهَلَكَاتِ
wa anqadhana min shafa jurufi alhalakati
and saved us from the brink of the pit of perditions
[24:53.00]
وَ مِنَ النَّارِ
wa min alnnari
and from the Fire.
[24:55.00]
بِاَبِيۤ اَنْتُمْ وَ اُمِّيْ وَ نَفْسِيْ
bi'abi antum wa ummi wa nafsi
May my father, mother, and soul be ransoms for you.
[25:00.00]
بِمُوَالَاتِكُمْ عَلَّمَنَا اللّٰهُ مَعَالِمَ دِيْنِنَا
bimuwalatikum `allamana allahu ma`alima dinina
Through our loyalty to your leadership, Allah has taught us the features of our religion
[25:06.00]
وَ اَصْلَحَ مَا كَانَ فَسَدَ مِنْ دُنْيَانَا
wa aslaha ma kana fasada min dunyana
and has set aright the spoiled items of our worldly lives.
[25:11.00]
وَ بِمُوَالَاتِكُمْ تَمَّتِ الْكَلِمَةُ
wa bimuwalatikum tammat alkalimatu
Through our loyalty to your leadership, the Word has been perfected,
[25:17.00]
وَ عَظُمَتِ النِّعْمَةُ
wa `azumat alnni`matu
the grace has become great,
[25:19.00]
وَائْتَلَفَتِ الْفُرْقَةُ
wa'talafat alfurqatu
and the discord has turned into alliance.
[25:23.00]
وَ بِمُوَالَاتِكُمْ تُقْبَلُ الطَّاعَةُ الْمُفْتَرَضَةُ
wa bimuwalatikum tuqbalu altta`atu almuftaradatu
Through our loyalty to your leadership, the obligatory obedience (to Allah) is accepted.
[25:29.00]
وَ لَكُمُ الْمَوَدَّةُ الْوَاجِبَةُ
wa lakum almawaddatu alwajibatu
To you alone are the obligatory affection,
[25:33.00]
وَ الدَّرَجَاتُ الرَّفِيْعَةُ
walddarajatu alrrafi`atu
the elevated ranks,
[25:37.00]
وَ الْمَقَامُ الْمَحْمُوْدُ
walmaqamu almahmudu
the praiseworthy standing,
[25:40.00]
"
وَ الْمَكَانُ [وَ الْمَقَامُ] الْمَعْلُوْمُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ "
walmakanu alma`lumu `inda allahi `azza wa jalla
the renowned station with Allah the Almighty and All-majestic,
[25:46.00]
وَ الْجَاهُ الْعَظِيْمُ
waljahu al`azimu
the topmost prestige,
[25:50.00]
وَ الشَّأْنُ الْكَبِيْرُ
walshsha'nu alkabiru
the supreme station,
[25:53.00]
وَ الشَّفَاعَةُ الْمَقْبُوْلَةُ
walshshafa`atu almaqbulatu
and the admitted intercession.
[26:01.00]
رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا بِمَاۤ اَنْزَلْتَ
rabbana amanna bima anzalta
O our Lord, we believe in that which You have sent down
[26:10.00]
وَ اتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُوْلَ
wattaba`na alrrasula
and we follow the Messenger;
[26:13.00]
فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِيْنَ
faktubna ma`a alshshahidina
so, write our names among those who bear witness.
[26:19.00]
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا
rabbana la tuzigh qulubana ba`da idh hadaytana
Our Lord, cause not our hearts to stray after You have guided us,
[26:29.00]
وَ هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً
wa hab lana min ladunka rahmatan
and bestow upon us mercy from Your Presence.
[26:34.00]
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
innaka anta alwahhabu
Lo! You, only You, are the Bestower.
[26:38.00]
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا
subhana rabbina
Glory be to our Lord
[26:40.00]
in kana wa`du rabbina lamaf`ulan
for in fact the promise of our Lord immediately takes effect.
[26:50.00]
ya waliyya allahi
O vicegerent of Allah!
[26:54.00]
inna bayni wa bayna allahi `azza wa jalla dhunuban
There stand between me and Allah the Almighty and All-majestic, sins
[27:01.00]
لَا يَأْتِيْ عَلَيْهَا اِلَّا رِضَاكُمْ
la ya'ti `alayha illa ridakum
that cannot be demolished except by attaining your satisfaction.
[27:07.00]
فَبِحَقِّ مَنِائْتَمَنَكُمْ عَلٰى سِرِّهِ
fabihaqqi man i'tamanakum `ala sirrihi
Therefore, [I beseech you] in the name of the One Who has entrusted you with His secret,
[27:13.00]
وَ اسْتَرْعَاكُمْ اَمْرَ خَلْقِهِ
wastar`akum amra khalqihi
assigned you to supervise the affairs of His creatures,
[27:18.00]
وَ قَرَنَ طَاعَتَكُمْ بِطَاعَتِهِ
wa qarana ta`atakum bita`atihi
and attached the obedience to Him with the obedience to you,
[27:23.00]
لَمَّا اسْتَوْهَبْتُمْ ذُنُوْبِيْ
lamma istawhabtum dhunubi
to (please) endue me with the favor of absolving my sins
[27:27.00]
وَ كُنْتُمْ شُفَعَاۤئِيْ
wa kuntum shufa`a'i
and to be my intercessors,
[27:31.00]
fa'inni lakum muti`un
for I am obedient to you.
[27:37.00]
مَنْ اَطَاعَكُمْ فَقَدْ اَطَاعَ اللّٰهَ
man ata`akum faqd ata`a allaha
He who obeys you has in fact obeyed Allah,
[27:41.00]
وَ مَنْ عَصَاكُمْ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللّٰهَ
wa man `asakum faqad `asa allaha
he who disobeys you has in fact disobeyed Allah,
[27:46.00]
وَ مَنْ اَحَبَّكُمْ فَقَدْ اَحَبَّ اللّٰهَ
wa man ahabbakum faqad ahabba allaha
he who loves you has in fact loved Allah,
[27:52.00]
وَ مَنْ اَبْغَضَكُمْ فَقَدْ اَبْغَضَ اللّٰهَ
wa man abghadakum faqad abghada allaha
and he who hates you has in fact hated Allah.
[27:58.00]
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ لَوْ وَجَدْتُ شُفَعَاۤءَ
allahumma inni law wajadtu shufa`a'a
O Allah, had I known interceders
[28:02.00]
اَقْرَبَ اِلَيْكَ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ
aqraba ilayka min muhammadin wa ahli baytihi
that are closer to You than Muhammad and his Household
[28:09.00]
الْاَخْيَارِ الْاَئِمَّةِ الْاَبْرَارِ
al-akhyari al-a'immati al-abrari
the virtuous and pious Imams,
[28:14.00]
لَجَعَلْتُهُمْ شُفَعَاۤئِيْ
laja`altuhum shufa`a'i
I would have chosen them as my intercessors.
[28:18.00]
فَبِحَقِّهُمُ الَّذِيْۤ اَوْجَبْتَ لَهُمْ عَلَيْكَ
fabihaqqihim alladhi awjabta lahum `alayka
So, [I beseech You] in the name of their Right that You have made obligatory upon You,
[28:23.00]
اَسْاَلُكَ اَنْ تُدْخِلَنِيْ فِيْ جُمْلَةِ الْعَارِفِيْنَ بِهِمْ وَ بِحَقِّهِمْ
as'aluka an tudkhilani fi jumlati al`arifina bihim wa bihaqqihim
(please) include me with the group of those who recognize their Right and them
[28:32.00]
وَ فِيْ زُمْرَةِ الْمَرْحُوْمِيْنَ بِشَفَاعَتِهِمْ
wa fi zumrati almarhumina bishafa`atihim
and with the assembly of those who are shown mercy owing to their (i.e. Muhammad and his Household) intercession.
[28:38.00]
اِنَّكَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
innaka arhamu alrrahimina
Verily, You are the most merciful of all those who show mercy.
[28:42.00]
وَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِهِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ
wa salla allahu `ala muhammadin wa alihi alttahirina
May Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his immaculate Household
[28:49.00]
وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْمًا كَثِيْرًا
wa sallama tasliman kathiran
and send His thorough peace upon them.
[28:54.00]
وَ حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ
wa hasbuna allahu wa ni`ma alwakilu
Allah is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust.
