Rabbih kum bil haqq; wa Rabbunar Rahmaa nul musta'aanu 'alaa maa tasifoon
My Lord! Judge [between us and the polytheists] with justice.’ ‘Our Lord is the All-beneficent; [He is our] resort against what you allege.
(Surah Al-Anbiya (21), Ayah 112)
O Lord, judge between us with truth, for our Lord is the Most Merciful - the One whose help is sought against what you allege.
When the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would speak about Allah based on assumptions - whether privately or publicly - and the Prophet (peace be upon him) heard their baseless talk, he made this supplication.
We too should recite this dua to properly handle both religious and worldly matters.
