Dua 13 When your difficulties cannot be resolved by any means available to you, then pray this dua :
(Surah Al-A'raf (7) - Verse 151)

وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِى رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ

wa adkhilnaa fee rahmatika wa Anta arhamur raahimeen

My Lord, forgive me and my brother, and admit us into Your mercy, for You are the most merciful of the merciful.

(Surah Al-A'raf (7) - Verse 151)

Every believer should seek Allah's mercy through this prayer. When we feel that our problems cannot be resolved by our own strength and means, we should immediately make this dua.
This is the dua that Prophet Musa (AS) made when Allah called him to Mount Tur to receive the Torah. He was commanded to fast for thirty days. To remove the odor caused by fasting, he cleansed his mouth with water. Then he was ordered to fast ten more days, as Allah loved the fragrance of his fasting breath.
After completing forty fasts, when he returned to his people, he found them trapped in Samiri's deception and worshipping idols. In his absence, his brother Harun (AS), who was his deputy, had been fulfilling the duties of prophethood. He asked: "Why has our people become like this?"
Hazrat Harun (AS) replied: "O my brother, I tried my best, exhausted all my strength and efforts, but these people would not listen. They have fallen into Samiri's trap." It was then that Hazrat Musa (AS) made this dua. There is great virtue in reciting this dua in the qunoot of every prayer.
