Dua 15 Dua of Hazrat Asiya (R.A.)
(Surah At-Tahrim (66), Verse 11)
رَبِّ ابْنِ لِي عِنْدَكَ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ
Rabbibni lee 'indaka baitan fil jannat
My Lord! Build me a home near You in paradise
(Surah At-Tahrim (66), Verse 11)
For believing righteous women, Allah presents the example of the great lady Bibi Asiya (R.A.), who was the wife of the impure Pharaoh.
Pharaoh claimed divinity. If today's oppressed people cannot escape from the gangsters of this dark world, then consider what must have been the condition of this poor noble lady! She holds a place among the four greatest women :
Hazrat Fatima (S.A.)
Hazrat Khadija (S.A.)
Hazrat Maryam (R.A.)
Hazrat Asiya (R.A.)
Among these, Hazrat Fatima (S.A.) holds the highest rank - merely reading her name brings tears to our eyes. This oppressed lady Hazrat Asiya (R.A.) lived constantly under the gaze of the impure Pharaoh. Yet she never lost courage, never abandoned Allah's path, and continued to protect Allah's Prophet Hazrat Musa (A.S.) from this impure one's schemes.
My mothers and sisters - think what sufferings this woman must have endured! Still, never did any thought of suicide or other evil ideas cross her heart and mind.
For the oppressed women of this Ummah, Allah presents Hazrat Asiya's example when we become impatient in small difficulties - "I'll leave", "I'll burn myself" - what impure thoughts we entertain! The Quran is an excellent guide for us It should be read with understanding and properly.
