Dua 27 For the Repayment of Debt
Once, Hazrat Amirul Momineen Ali ibn Abi Talib (A.S.) fell into debt. He complained to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), who then instructed him to recite the following supplication:

اَللَّهُمَّ اغْنِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَ أَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ

Allahummagh-nini bihalalika ‘an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika ‘amman siwaka, ya Hayyu ya Qayyum.

"O Allah! Enrich me with Your lawful provisions so that I may avoid the unlawful, and suffice me with Your grace so that I need not depend on anyone but You. O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining!"

Hazrat Amirul Momineen (A.S.) said, "When I started reciting this dua, my debt was repaid within a few days.
